  1. When you're light, gravity affects you less in terms of impact than you would were you heavier. And the cat seem to have landed on grass. But yes, still impressive.

  2. Ana – get yourself a grigri (a climbing belay device), enough static abseiling rope to be able to reach the ground and tie off in your unit, a carabiner, and a carrying container that can be tied to the carabiner. Tie off the rope in your unit, attach the carrying container to the carabiner, attach the carabiner to the grigri and attach the grigri to the rope. The grigri is a cam device that will allow a controlled decent via the rope and is used by mountaineers and climbers all of the time.

  3. 😒 PSSS!! I SEEN JUNKIES JUMP HIGHER THEN THAT . LOOK UP JUNKIE SUPER STRENGTH. BY THE WAY THAT CAT GOT ALL THE MOMENTUM IN THE AIR DUE TO GIANT BALL SACK IT CARRIES, IN FACT WHAT YOU SEE ON THE VIDEO IS NOT THE CAT ITS JUST ITS BALLSACK FLYING LIKE A BOSS

  4. Growing up, my cousins had a cat which they routinely dropped from the top bunk in their bedroom upside-down to watch it twist around land on its feet. We determined that although the cat's feet and legs contacted the floor first, they minimally broke the fall and most of the shock from the impact was transmitted through the cat's stomach to its insides, including its vital organs. All that and the cat still walked off like it owned the house and everyone in it. Every time.

  5. The way Cenk recalled that Mark Rober video 😂 Squirrels lock their heads on their target landing spot, then tuck in their limbs (like figure skaters tucking in their arms during a spin to go faster) or splay out/widen their bodies like a parachute, all while twisting their tails to reorient themselves for landing. Essentially they've mastered the physics of falling from high places. Cats do the same, but aren't as masterful as squirrels.

  6. Not surprising, mines survived a seven story drop… What's a amazing is that he cleared the concrete wall in the process and hit the grass. That's some precision.

  7. As someone who has been in a house on fire as a kid, my mom broke the window and tossed me out. Of course we were on the first floor. Had to go to the neighbors in my underwear. That was the traumatizing part of the ordeal.

  8. Cats spread there legs apart depending on the distance and create air resistance which slows them down. In theory cats can survive up to 100 stories without dying. Surely some will get some bumps and bruises depending on fitness but almost all will survive.
