The Friday MLB card is loaded all day with plenty of player and team props to choose from. The game of the night takes place in interleague action as the Chicago Cubs visit the New York Yankees.

We’ll break down three plays for the Friday action. Remember to monitor the odds throughout the day, as the props and totals market is constantly changing.

Here are the free MLB picks for Friday, July 11:

Atlanta Braves (-122 at DraftKings) at St. Louis Cardinals

The Atlanta Braves have gone through a nightmarish first half of the season at 40–52. Atlanta dropped two of three to the Athletics and now heads to St. Louis to face the Cardinals.

Grant Holmes takes the mound for the Braves. He’s winless in his last three starts, but Holmes has pitched well during this stretch, allowing four runs in 17 innings of work.

The Cardinals are coming off a series win over the Nationals, with Matthew Liberatore set to start. Liberatore is unbeaten in his last four outings, and St. Louis is 7–2 in its past nine home series openers.

This line is interesting with the Braves favored despite their inconsistency. It’s moved toward Atlanta, and we’ll follow that signal and back the Braves.

Luis Severino Over 3.5 Strikeouts (+135 at DraftKings)

The Athletics look to finish off the first half on a high note as they host the Toronto Blue Jays in Sacramento.

Toronto owns the lowest strikeout percentage in MLB, and opposing starting pitchers have gone Under their strikeout totals in 11 consecutive games.

Still, there’s value in Luis Severino. Despite his struggles at home this season, Severino has racked up five or more strikeouts in seven of his 11 home starts.

Also, in seven of the last 11 home games, Athletics starting pitchers have compiled at least four strikeouts.
