Gold price hits record high in national and international markets


Gold prices in Pakistan saw a substantial increase, aligning with the rise in global gold rates, according to rates shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs 248,100, reflecting a single-day jump of Rs 3,100.

The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs 2,658, settling at Rs 212,706.

In the international market, the gold rate climbed to $2,414 per ounce (including a $20 premium), up by $30 during the day.

The silver rate in Pakistan also witnessed an increase, rising by Rs 120 to reach Rs 2,850 per tola.

On Friday, gold prices had declined by Rs 600 per tola.
