Gold rates go down in Pakistan

KARACHI – Gold witnessed significant decline in its prices in domestic market of Pakistan on Wednesday in line with dropping international rates.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price dropped by Rs1,800 per tola to reach Rs228,300.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24 Karat gold saw a decline of Rs1,544 to close at Rs195,730 in the local market.

The international market also saw a decrease in the gold price as it dropped by $18 to close at $2,179 per ounce.

Silver remained steady in the South Asian country as no change was witnessed in its prices. The per tola silver price stands at Rs2,600 while 10-gram is being sold for Rs2,229.
