Shikigami, Liquid notch wins at Overwatch Champions Series

Shikigami and Team Liquid earned their first wins of the 2025 Overwatch Champions Series North America event on Sunday.

Shikigami took down Amplify 3-1, while Team Liquid went the distance in a 3-2 victory over Spacestation Gaming.

The $100,000 tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude Feb. 23, with six qualifying teams then heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs. The first-place team will take home $30,000.

On Sunday, Shikigami opened with a 2-1 win on Samoa Control before Amplify answered with a 3-1 triumph on Suravasa Flashpoint. Shikigami then moved in front with a 2-1 result on Dorado Escort and finished the job with a 138-64 victory on Esperanca Push.

Spacestation opened their match with Liquid by winning 2-0 on Nepal Control. Liquid answered with a 2-0 result on Havana Escort and a 3-1 win on Suravasa Flashpoint.

After Spacestation dominated Esperanca Push 142-3, Liquid prevailed 3-2 on the do-or-die fifth round, Blizzard World Hybrid.

The regular season resumes Friday with two matches:

–Shikigami vs. Timeless

–Amplify vs. Spacestation Gaming
