“So Many Cameras…”: Experts On Lucknow Super Giants Owner Sanjiv Goenka’s ‘Animated’ Chat With KL Rahul

Lucknow Super Giants were practically obliterated as Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a show of pure explosive batting to march to a 10-wicket victory in their IPL 2024 match on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 166, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma produced stunning performances to end the match in just 9.4 overs – the fastest ever in an 100+ run chase. After the end of the match, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was caught on camera having an animated conversation with Rahul – something that has left the internet fuming. Experts also weighed in on the topic on Jio Cinema with the opinion that such conversations should happen behind closed doors and these images are never helpful for any team.

“You always feel these conversations should be happening behind closed doors. There are so many cameras around the stadium and they miss nothing. You know KL Rahul is now gonna go to press conferences and other things and potentially explain what’s been discussed here,” an expert said on Jio Cinema.

“He has done well to keep his cool here. I think you are bang on,” Styris added.

KL Rahul was left “lost for words” by SRH’s aggressive brand of batting.

“Am lost for words. We have watched that kind of batting on tv. But this is unreal batting. Everything seemed to find the middle of the bat. Kudos to their skills. They have worked hard on their six hitting skills. They didn’t give us a chance to know what the pitch played in the second innings.”

“Was hard to stop them as they teed off from ball one. Once you are on the losing side, there are questions marks on the decisions taken. We were 40-50 runs short. When we lost wickets in the powerplay, we couldn’t get any momentum. Ayush and Nicky batted well to get us to 166. But even if we would have got 240, they could have chased it as well,” Rahul said after the match.
