Happy 45th birthday to the otherwise ageless one, Tom Brady.
What else can you say about the man who has done it all and then some in his unmatched and unparalleled NFL career? Heading into his 23rd NFL season, Brady has spent the summer as you might expect, trolling old critics and recalling snubs from two decades ago. Back on the field, he’s also dealing with the likely loss of his favorite target, as well as his starting center. Still, at this point, no amount of adversity can seemingly affect his play on the field, and the MVP oddsmakers most certainly agree. Brady has also been characteristically coy about whether or not this will be his final NFL season. His opponents are hoping that’s the case, but for the rest of us NFL fans, let’s just sit back and enjoy the ride while it’s still here to enjoy.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In just two seasons, Brady has already brought a Super Bowl to Tampa Bay, and if he throws 39 TDs this season, he will become the team’s all-time leader in that category. But, for now, he remains in second place. So with that in mind, how many of the quarterbacks who have thrown for the second-most touchdowns for each NFL team can you name in five minutes?
