The Tuesday WNBA card showcases a pair of intriguing matchups as the All-Star break approaches on Thursday.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever travel to Boston to face the struggling Connecticut Sun, followed by the Los Angeles Sparks hosting the Washington Mystics.

We’ll break down three plays for Tuesday’s action. Remember to monitor the odds throughout the day, as the props and betting market are constantly changing.

Here are the free WNBA picks for Tuesday, July 15:

Best WNBA Plays Today

Caitlin Clark over 18.5 points (+100)
Fever/Sun 1Q under 42.5 (-110)
Sparks 1Q (+102)

Caitlin Clark — Indiana Fever — Over 18.5 Points (+100 at DraftKings)

It’s been a tough season for the biggest star in the WNBA, as Clark has missed 10 games due to injuries. She has returned for the last three games, helping Indiana to a 2–1 record.

Clark looks to bust out of her scoring slump as the Fever face the Connecticut Sun at TD Garden in Boston. She has been limited to 14 points or fewer in her three games since returning from a groin injury.

In the first matchup with the Sun, Clark scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers. Her highest road point total this season is 19, which came at Las Vegas last month.

Connecticut not only owns the worst record in the league, but also allows the most points per game at 88.1.

Indiana Fever/Connecticut Sun — 1Q Under 42.5 Points (-110 at DraftKings)

The Sun are coming off their best first-quarter offensive output of the season, scoring 30 points against the Sparks on Sunday.

Before that outburst, Connecticut had scored 20 points or fewer in the first quarter of nine straight games.

Indiana is holding opponents to 42.1% shooting in the first quarter, including just 25.4% from 3-point range.

The Fever have cashed the over in the first quarter of their last four home games, but on the road, Indiana is 6-2-1 to the under in the opening 10 minutes.

Los Angeles Sparks 1Q (+0.5) vs. Washington Mystics (+102 at DraftKings)

The Washington Mystics are coming off a huge win at Seattle on Sunday, their third straight victory.

They remain on the West Coast to face the Los Angeles Sparks, who rallied past Connecticut on Sunday for their sixth win of the season.

This is a good spot to fade the Mystics in the first quarter. Washington is 7-1 against the spread in the first quarter as a road underdog this season. However, as a road favorite, the Mystics are just 1-3 ATS in the opening quarter.

In those three losses, the Mystics trailed by scores of 28–9, 26–11, and 23–13 — all against teams currently below .500.

The Sparks started slow against Connecticut as a favorite, but now as a home underdog, they could catch the Mystics in a letdown spot early.
