It was the day when the Rohit Sharma-led side got edged past by Australia and lost the coveted ODI World Cup trophy. However, the fans had to relive that night again as India failed to clinch the Under-19 World Cup title after losing to Australia in the summit clash on Sunday. Just like the senior team, Uday Saharan and co had a phenomenal campaign as they remained unbeaten in the tournament, before losing to Australia in the final.
This was India’s third consecutive loss against Australia in an ICC final. Earlier, they lost in the ODI World Cup 2023 and and World Test Championship final.
